Users of online services are often targets of cybercrimes and security threats, including fraudulent “phishing” emails that attempt to lure people into supplying personal or company information such as credit card numbers, user login identities and passwords, financial account details and Social Security numbers.
At NetSuite, we take protecting your data very seriously and focus on proactively safeguarding our customers’ private data. As a NetSuite user, it’s important to recognise that NetSuite will never email you to ask for confidential information like your NetSuite password or credit card information. If you receive a suspicious email that uses NetSuite’s name, immediately inform NetSuite by forwarding it to security@netsuite.com
Use Strong Passwords and Change Them Regularly. Passwords are the first line of defence in preventing unauthorised access to any computer.
Phishing emails are seemingly legitimate emails with links to website that mimics a legitimate site, such as the netsuite.com login page.
