Peachtree users can now import data into NetLedger and get power for their business within minutes
San Mateo, CA—February 13, 2001—NetLedger, Inc., the leader in Web-based solutions that enable small businesses to succeed in the new economy, today unveiled Peachtree CSV Import, a feature allowing Peachtree users to import their data into NetLedger. NetLedger is the only one in its category to deliver data import capabilities to users of two major shrink-wrap accounting products (Peachtree Accounting(/Peachtree Complete Accounting( and QuickBooks() who want to move to an Internet-based small business management system.
As a result of today's announcement, Peachtree users can import key business information, which includes chart of accounts, employee list, vendor list, customer list, and item list. The whole procedure takes minutes. Thorough step-by-step instructions can be found in the Help section of the NetLedger Web site.
"With this new capability NetLedger is smoothing the transition to Web-based business management for thousands of Peachtree users," said Evan Goldberg, president and chief executive officer of NetLedger, Inc. "Once they make that transition, NetLedger will revolutionise how they run their business by integrating all of their core business functions. This is in contrast to services offered by both major shrink-wrap software vendors that handle only basic accounting and don't even import data from their own legacy desktop applications."
