LittleMissMatched adopts NetSuite SuiteCommerce to run end-to-end omnichannel commerce business

SuiteCommerce Unifies LittleMissMatched B2B, B2C, In-Store and Mobile Sales into a Single Commerce System

SAN MATEO, Calif.—September 11, 2012—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced that LittleMissMatched (www.littlemissmatched.com), an innovative tween brand encouraging individual style and self-expression, has gone live on the new NetSuite SuiteCommerce platform as a complete cloud commerce solution, spanning eCommerce, omnichannel sales across B2B, B2C and retail stores. LittleMissMatched uses NetSuite SuiteCommerce to run eCommerce, financials, inventory management, order management, distribution, customer relationship management, marketing promotions, and other core processes—all without a dedicated IT staff. This has led to successful enhancements in its Direct to Consumer business, as well as global expansion of the brand into Latin America and Japan, and strengthened relationships with its large wholesale partners such as QVC.

"Our business strategy disrupts traditional fashion retail with our unique apparel, accessories, and mismatched socks, but having mismatched software systems running various business channels was definitely not designed for success," said Andrea Gulli, Vice President, Direct to Consumer at LittleMissMatched. "By unifying our multichannel commerce operations in the cloud on NetSuite SuiteCommerce, we are streamlining our business operations while delivering a much higher quality experience for our consumer and business customers."

NetSuite's SuiteCommerce platform is at the heart of NetSuite Commerce as a Service (CaaS), and enables businesses to manage interactions with other businesses and directly with consumers via a cloud platform that delivers an enhanced customer experience, through multiple touchpoints, directly on the core NetSuite ERP/CRM business management application. This technology transcends the limitations and complexity of first-generation eCommerce systems to deliver new efficiencies for merchants and a superior experience for customers. "LittleMissMatched is an ideal example of a fast-moving and agile retailer that's turned its business ambitions into bottom-line success supported by integrated operations across an omnichannel environment," said Andy Lloyd, NetSuite General Manager of Commerce Products. "We're seeing more and more retailers gain a competitive advantage and strong growth using SuiteCommerce atop the full NetSuite cloud business management solution."

In addition to customer relationship management, marketing promotions, order and inventory management, warehousing and distribution, and financials, NetSuite SuiteCommerce also enables the New York-based company to take advantage of new capabilities for flexible customization to streamline shopping cart and checkout processes on its webstore, introducing new single-page checkout to increase sales and reduce shopping cart abandonment. LittleMissMatched has also enhanced branding and aesthetics in its checkout process, gained new flexibility with SuiteCommerce capabilities for advanced promotions, delivering greater efficiencies and improved customer experience. Using the SuiteCommerce API to build a JSON connector to manage transactions in the core NetSuite ERP / financials system, LittleMissMatched will soon roll out a new mobile shopping environment optimised for smartphones as well.

The SuiteCommerce implementation was led by NetSuite partner Horizon Associates Group, LLC.

"The flexibility of the new SuiteCommerce development platform allowed us to rapidly customise a streamlined shopping cart and checkout process designed to increase eCommerce sales at LittleMissMatched," said Joe Giegerich, Partner at Horizon Associates Group, LLC. "NetSuite has delivered a winning solution with SuiteCommerce that will serve B2C and B2B merchants well as they strive to grow their eCommerce channel."
