Wearable Health Monitor Pioneer Expands Globally with NetSuite OneWorld

Lack of modern, powerful yet affordable solutions in personal health care inspired Marco Peluso and Rosario Iannella to launch Qardio in 2012 to revolutionise the health monitoring industry by bringing innovative technologies, high-end design and exceptional user experience to the medical industry. The demand grew for Qardio’s own website and enlisted a large network of distributors across 47 countries. As such, their existing system didn’t provide the multi-currency, multi-subsidiary features Qardio needed to achieve their ambitious plans for growth.

NetSuite Enables Healthy Growth for Qardio

Scalability, global capabilities win out
With support for the five currencies it operates in, global financial consolidation and multi-country tax compliance, including VAT for UK and Dutch entities, NetSuite OneWorld offered a scalable and flexible system that could grow with Qardio as it introduced its newest product, QardioCore, a first of its kind wearable ECG monitor, which it expects to drive the revenue growth fourfold.
Doubling revenue with a unified system
With NetSuite, Qardio has grown revenue 200 percent while maintaining a lean staff of three in finance. It easily incorporated a new subsidiary to serve the Chinese market, and now tracks inventory across five warehouses spread across the globe.
Real-time busines monitoring
Greater visibility into KPIs like revenue per sales rep, profit per channel and more convinced Qardio to shift more of its efforts to its online business, while the ease of establishing new subsidiaries and consolidating financials enables the company to continue its global growth.
